The customer service and the food were beyond expectations, We had a welcome note and a bottle of wine in our room. The bathroom was very nice, except it seemed more designed for a man. The floor was heated, and it had a large tub, a rain shower, and double sinks. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. I would definitely stay there the next time I visit Amsterdam. The dinner and drinks in their restaurant were the best in town. The bed was very comfortable and there was lots of storage for clothing and shoes. There was also generous storage under the double sinks in the bathroom. The location was very good and in walking distance of several interesting museums and areas of town.

Everything was wonderful. Very clean bathroom, the gabled roof of the triple room was cozy and inviting, we had plenty of space and room in drawers so we didn't have to live out of the suitcases. Beds were soft, velux windows had blackout shades, dyson fans were provided in case the windows needed to be closed. Easy walking distance to Fabel, our fave friet place, and Lanskroon is just around the corner for fresh stroopwafels. The views from the windows were lovely. Especially loved listening to the rain on the roof at night. Breakfast was exceptional, I have many dietary restrictions and had plenty of options. Staff was top-notch.

You are really get the authenticity of what Amsterdam has to offer from the hotels location. Would highly recommend. We needed a 3 single bed option for our room which sadly meant we could not opt for a canal view which would have been nice however, we still enjoyed the hotel and loved that it was a traditional build with the narrow staircases. They have done a wonderful job of converting all the buildings to make it into this wonderful hotel. The staff were all lovely and friendly.
